    For our opening movie sequence, we have come up with two ideas that we had to pick between. Our first idea was a murder story, and our second idea was a monster story. Pitch 1- Murder   Alone in the building, a man paces, could the threats be true, and could tonight be his last? Why we would choose pitch one:   This film would be interesting to make because of the idea of it being in multiple locations in a small period of t ime . This film would also be interesting because there would be a lot of angles that could be used to show the setting and give it a creepy, uneasy vibe. We would also have fun working with the costumes and lighting to figure out what is best for our film. However, getting the settings to ourselves could pose a challenge. Also getting the lighting right could be difficult due to the resources we have available.    I would like to do my A-level film in a group. Last year, I expressed my uncertainty on the topic of groups. I stated how I often found it easier to work by myself because you have full control over all the components of the project. I went on to say "You do not have to rely on other people, and you will not be dragged down if they forget their work". I remember stating that there was no clear answer, but this year, I have come to a conclusion. I decided that the best way to go is to put my trust in the abilities of my group mates. I would like to partner with Max, Jibril, and Alec because I believe it will make creating the film easier. Max is someone who can point me in the right direction. We have been in many of the same classes over the last couple years and we have gotten along very well.   Welcome back. My  name is Denton and I am in 11th grade. I am 16 years old and I enjoy basketball, sailing, and traveling. I am a fan of the Los Angeles Clippers, but my favorite team is the Miami Heat. My favorite places that I’ve traveled to are Canada, Mexico, California, and Maine. My favorite subjects are art and history. I enjoy almost any activity that has to do with the ocean. Sailing, swimming, surfing, and diving are my favorites. Ironically, the ocean is the scariest thing I can think of. The unexplored and unknown as well as what we don't know about the ocean makes it the most other-worldly place I have ever been. But the real question is; why did I pick AICE Media Studies A level? First and foremost, I chose this class to expand upon last year's class.
