The camera shot is over the shoulder to gradually show how he is about to have flashbacks of times when he was very happy Scene 4: quickly zooms into Trevor's head and jump cuts to a memory of him and Sydney on the couch with the cam behind the tv, slowly pan. Props: Props wise, for our music video to Kid Cudi's pursuit of happiness the main prop we will use will be a car. We may After discussing our music video idea, we will not need many props, we will mainly be utilizing our surroundings in our locations. For one of the scenes, we decided we will film at the beach for this we would include a towel. Another scene will be filmed in a house for these scenes we will be using props such as a couch.   Costumes: In our music video, there will be two main actors. For the scenes shot in the locations such as the car and house they will have on casual clothing. For the scene at the beach, they will be in normal beach attire such as bathing suits. ·       The song we chose through research was the pursuit of happiness by Kid Cudi.    Our research:   ·       One thing we notice about his music videos is he uses a lot of high-angle shots to show him dancing.  ·       As well as tracking shot to follow him around as he sings.  ·       Another thing commonly used by him is the use of animated colors or added color. ·       There were bright color changes when happy lyrics or bright chords were struck, and darker colors when a more monocratic message or feeling is conveyed by the music.  ·       The themes of his music videos are often based around nostalgia and have a nostalgic feel.  ·       These were all achieved with the video editing to make the film have a "vintage" feel.  ·       The genre of the chosen song is hip hop.  ·       Watching the music videos there were very reoccurring themes in them in the portrayal of love. ·        Love is a very common niche used, whether it's presented by partners or metaphors.

  I would like to do my media studies music video in a group. Throughout my school years, I have (and still am) unsure whether to work in a group. I often find it is easier to work by yourself because you have full control over all the components of the project. You do not have to rely on other people, and you will not be dragged down if they forget their work. I do not believe there ever has, or ever will be a clear winner in this argument because there are benefits to each side. Once again, I put my trust in the abilities of my group mates. I would like to partner with Trevor, Ayden, and Sydni because I believe it will make creating a commercial easier. Ayden is someone who can point me in the right direction. We have worked on many projects together since fourth grade. He has, and presumably will keep track of what elements need to be included and help with the design process.   Hi, my name is Denton and I am in 10th grade. I am currently 15 years old and I enjoy basketball, sailing, and traveling. I am a fan of the Los Angeles Clippers, but my favorite team is the Miami Heat. My favorite places that I’ve traveled to are Canada, Mexico, California, and Maine.
