CCR Questions

1. My/ My group's product challenges normal schooling. Our product allows kids to learn from home in a fun and educational environment. it helps the social issue of many parents who cannot afford to pay for their kid's school, cannot afford to take them, etc.
2. The product connects to the audience by creating a fun learning environment that is attractive to both kids, and their parents.
3. My video editing abilities, camera movement/angle skills, and script-making abilities were all improved through the project. 
4. we used phones,  computers, and cameras to capture audio and video while we used computers to edit, re-watch, and finally submit the project.

Comparing 9, the short, and 9, the full-length movie

  The first short film to analyze, is 9 by Shane Acker. The film is about a rag doll who lives in a miniature junkyard. In the beginning of the film, the main character is working with a friend to get a lightbulb to work. While doing this, a monster is shown to be working in the shadows. The main characters friend notices and tells the main character to run as they stay behind to fight off the beast. The main character turns around to watch their friend, get easily overpowered and killed by the monster. This monster then turns its attention to the main character, chasing it until the main character can get out of sight for a few seconds. At this point, the main character devise is a trap to jump on top of the monster, which does not work out. By the end of the film, the main character is backed up on a ledge, while the monster creeps towards it. Group Blog (2022/23)

   I would like to do my A-level film in a group. Last year, I expressed my uncertainty on the topic of groups. I stated how I often found it easier to work by myself because you have full control over all the components of the project. I went on to say "You do not have to rely on other people, and you will not be dragged down if they forget their work". I remember stating that there was no clear answer, but this year, I have come to a conclusion. I decided that the best way to go is to put my trust in the abilities of my group mates. I would like to partner with Max, Jibril, and Alec because I believe it will make creating the film easier. Max is someone who can point me in the right direction. We have been in many of the same classes over the last couple years and we have gotten along very well.
